Semi-Senior Accountant

Up to £30,000 DOE
Our client, a leading accountancy practice in Stoke-on-Trent, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Semi-Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking to progress their career within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a small portfolio
* Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies
* Preparation of Personal Tax returns
* Reviewing VAT returns
* Help with training of Junior staff
* Liaise with clients and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
* Part qualified ACA/ACCA/AAT or equivalent
* At least 2 years of experience in a UK Accountancy Practice
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Sage and Xero
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
* A positive attitude and a desire to progress within the organisation
