Our client, an established business based in Albrighton require a full time Tea Room Supervisor for a permanent contract. Our client prides themselves on offering customers an extremely high level of service both in the tearoom and around the plant centre.
THE ROLE
The Tea Room Supervisor will work closely with Tea Room Manager, overseeing the tearoom and tearoom staff. You will be involved with the smooth running of the tearoom and cover for the manager on days off, holidays and sickness. You will be taking orders from the public, serving food and drink, and dealing with the public in a polite and helpful manner. Taking money for food and drink and processing transactions through the till and communicating clearly orders to staff in the kitchen. Serving and preparing meals, cakes, and hot and cold drinks. You will be responsible for delivering high standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and hygiene in all areas and ensure you, and those others working within your areas of responsibility do so in accordance with current, applicable health & safety/fire safety legislation. You will also accurately record and keep daily food safety controls and ensure staff comply with cash handling procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
You will be a friendly and polite person, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a busy team environment. Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor would be an advantage with a calm and confident approach. You will be a flexible person with your own transport as public transport links are not suitable. You will be hard-working, reliable and confident with a friendly personality and a strong team player with a positive attitude. You will have a passion for food and service, flexibility and happy to help out where needed. Ideally you will be barista trained.
