I am working with a longstanding multi-disciplinary in North Yorkshire on a Principal Bridge Engineer position that has been identified in their dedicated Bridge Structures team that is based in both Otley and Northallerton.
This consultancy has been successful in their bid for the North Yorkshire County Council Bridge maintenance framework and with that you will take a leading role in the team on the design, assessment, and inspection of Bridge schemes with a team of junior engineers and technicians at your disposal.
They can offer you as a Chartered Engineer a salary of up to £58,000, a 6% pension contribution and 25 days with the option to purchase up to 10 more!
Principal Bridge Engineer key requirements
Be a Chartered Engineer and have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience
Have experience in leading multiple small to large sized projects and undertaking concept and detailed design reviews.
Proficient in the use of Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW).
Proficient in the use of Eurocodes and British Standards for the design and assessment of bridges and civil structures.
