Early Years Educator

A full time Early Years Educator position is now available at a warm hearted nursery school in Derby. The nursery is a small chain nursery that can offer great routes for progression and has recently had a refurbishment therefore excellent resources for the children.

I am looking for an educator who has experience of working with children under 5 and have knowledge of the EYFS and Child protection/ Safeguarding procedure.

The nursery cares for upwards of 60 children a day, with multiple different rooms set up to cater for the different ages of the children within the setting. The nursery has a clear curriculum in place designed to best support the children throughout their learning and development, with staff there to support each child when needed. The current staff team create strong bonds with the children within the setting, working together to ensure every child has their needs met and settles into nursery routine well.

Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide at least 2 references.

The successful Early Years Educator will:

Have previous experience working in an Early Years setting, with a good knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum.
Be able to provide a minimum of 2 professional references
Be passionate about working with young children, and eager to join a new team.
Level 3 Childcare Qualification (preferred not essential)
