They are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to undertake building services management and co-ordination. This role also includes providing mentoring and support to other members of the department and wider design team.

The role :

Assess tender drawings and specifications for compliance to Building Regulations, Statutory, Health, Environment and Safety Legislation and Requirements.
Evaluate pre-contract quotes and technical submissions.
Provide technical assistance to in-house design team.
Supervise, survey, co-ordinate and inspect subcontractor activities during construction phase.
Coordinate commissioning and handover procedures.
Assess record drawing and O&M information and manage changes.
TM52 Thermal Comfort Assessments - review, problem solving and risk mitigation.
TM54 Operation Energy Performance - review and validation of design/subcontractor inputs and outputs.
TM59 Building Overheating - review, problem solving and risk mitigation.
TM65 Embodied Carbon - supporting overall business objectives on embodied carbon.

About you :

Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services
Minimum experience of 10 years & at least 3 years in contractors design office
ACIBSE, MIET or similar
Working knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC requirements CIBSE, CIBSE Guidance, BSRIA Guidance, British and European Standards.
Driving Licence (full and clean) and own car.
Excellent client facing communication skills.
