Learning Support Assistant - Clacton

Simply Education are looking to appoint a passionate and inspiring Learning Support Assistant for KS2, to join a successful, supportive and enthusiastic team within a school in the Clacton, Essex area. We are looking for a LSA who can work together in supporting and inspiring the pupils in a long-term role for the Summer term. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the development of lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
• Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
• Support classroom management and assist with behaviour management strategies.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of children’s progress.
• Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals.

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or a similar role in an educational setting.
• Relevant qualifications and certifications in education or child development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
