Job Title: Prototype Operations Leader
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday
Location: Leeds
 
A great opportunity has for a Prototype Operations Leader has come up for a client of mine in the Leeds
area.
Our client is a multiple award-winning Automotive Manufacturer who is at the forefront of Electric Vehicle technology and dedicated to a sustainable future. It is a very exciting time to join this growing company who are looking for someone to be part of their exciting journey.  
 
The Prototype Operations Leader role primarily focuses on:

Delivering on the prototype development of component and system level prototypes
Managing a team of multi-skilled technicians in the build and maintenance of prototypes
Managing the prototype process ensuring all data, modifications and product change requests are fully electronically documented
Managing prototyping delivery to ensure this links fully to the overall development project plans
Building and maintaining relationships with external providers and suppliersThe successful Prototype Operations Leader must have the following skills and experience:

Experience of developing prototypes within product development
A strong technical engineering design background
Experience of working in a manufacturing technical engineering environment
Experience of leading, managing and influencing others
A sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles
