Location: Secondary School in Kirklees
Start Date: September 2024
Contract Type: Full-Time, PermanentKey Responsibilities:

Delivering dynamic and engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning and preparing lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of students
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives
Participating in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activitiesCandidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in History or a related field
Proven experience teaching History at the secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
Commitment to continuous professional development and a reflective approach to teaching
