Location: Lisburn Area.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30 pm and Friday 9am to 3pm
Duration: Permanent

On behalf of our client, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join an organisation with a reputation as a leading Consulting Engineering Practice. This organisation covers Commercial and Residential projects throughout Ireland and the UK. They can count some prestigious clients amongst their portfolio.
The Structural Engineer will join a growing team at an exciting time in the organisation’s evolution and can expect opportunities to develop as well as progression. This opportunity will suit an individual looking to progress to Associate level but can equally offer the challenge and direction for the more Senior Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Structural analysis and design.
* Structural assessment of existing structures.
* Managing and running structural design projects
* Monitoring project progress, budgets and schedule
* Site visits, carrying out desktop investigations, attending site meetings and checking progress and quality of work on site.
* Liaising with contractors, clients and architects.
* Representing the company at design team and contractor/client meetings and business.
* Development/networking events as may be required.
* Communicating clearly with team members, manager and contractors, architects, clients.
* Provide technical direction and mentoring to graduate engineers.
You will need:
* To be an experienced Structural Engineer or Senior Engineer with experience of managing a variety of projects.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Either chartered or approaching chartership.
* Full driving licence
* Eligible to work in the UK on a full time, permanent basis.
