We are currently seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join a leading national care organization based in Edinburgh. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of our nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.
 
Position: Deputy Manager
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £23.48 - £24.48 per hour

Responsibilities:

Support the Home Manager in the effective management of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Lead and supervise care staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as required.
Assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of residents.
Ensure that medication management procedures are followed accurately and safely.
Coordinate and participate in staff training and development programs.
Assist with the recruitment and induction of new staff members.
Act as a point of contact for families, residents, and external agencies, providing support and assistance as needed. 
Requirements:

Previous experience in a senior care role within a nursing home setting.
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
A genuine passion for providing high-quality care for the elderly.
