Are you ready to be part of something special? The Marketing Academy is searching for an enthusiastic Communications & Community Executive to elevate their Virtual Campus Program to new heights. This part-time hybrid role, offering 22.5 hours per week, ideally working every day with one full day a week working in Cheltenham, is perfect for someone passionate about marketing and making a positive impact in a non-for-profit organisation.

The Marketing Academy is a not-for-profit organisation who have been working with leading businesses to help with nurturing exceptional talent in marketing, media, and advertising for almost 15 years.  Their Virtual Campus Program is a rolling 12-month development syllabus featuring masterclasses, workshops, and lectures aimed at inspiring and empowering talent globally.

Delivered entirely online, the program offers flexibility and world-class content free of charge, but enrolment is by special invitation only. With around 9,000 participants globally, The Virtual Campus Program is designed exclusively for scholars, fellows, alumni, mentors, coaches, and partners of The Marketing Academy.

The Role:

As the Communications & Community Executive, you'll work closely with the Program Director to deliver engaging content and ensure an exceptional experience for the community. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities where no two days are the same. You'll also enjoy flexibility and autonomy in your work schedule.

In the role of Communications & Community Executive, you’ll be responsible for:

Helping the Program Director with rolling out a fun and engaging community plan, and making sure new members have a top-notch onboarding experience.

Keeping The Virtual Campus Hub buzzing with exciting content, and staying on top of community chats and interactions.

Providing tech support, answering general questions, and handling those special Golden Ticket Applications.

Getting creative with marketing and communication strategies, crafting cool promotional materials, and leading the social media presence.

Setting up and managing digital webinar platforms for learning sessions, plus editing videos for the on-demand library.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

Experience in social media, a knack for creative design and digital-savvy.
Strong writing skills and a willingness to learn video editing and email creation.
A community-centric mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and a proactive approach.
A can-do attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve quickly.
