Salary: Circa £65,000 pa

Location: Port Talbot

Hours: Day work but part of a call rota.

A world-leading industrial gases and engineering company require an Electrical Maintenance Manager at their top tier COMAH site in Port Talbot. The successful candidate will be a qualified high voltage electrical person ideally with process plant experience.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the isolation of electrical equipment for maintenance purposes, testing and restarting equipment once maintained.

Duties:

* You will be responsible for the isolation of electrical equipment for maintenance purposes, testing and restarting equipment once maintained

* Ensuring all mandatory work is properly scheduled, planned for and carried out on time

* Resolving plant problems by rectifying defects and identifying opportunities that will enhance plant reliability

* Supporting the continued operation of the Branch and satellites by ensuring all electrical systems associated with plant machinery, equipment and process systems are maintained in an efficient manner, whilst ensuring that company operational standards and statutory requirements are met

* Be responsible for the completion of all routine and breakdown electrical maintenance of plant and machinery within the main branch

* You will be able to provide an immediate response to production personnel on fault diagnosis and correction across all electrical equipment at time of plant outage or equipment mal-function

Requirements:

* You will have recognised electrical qualifications; both to company and external standards

* You will have knowledge of general electrical engineering practices and be comfortable with HV and LV equipment

* Be specialized in process plant electrical equipment.

* You will be skilled in assessing, reviewing and approval of work

* Appropriate authorisation by design authority

* Previous COMAH site experience

* You must have a high level of personal integrity
