Pertemps Kidderminster are looking for an experienced Powder Coater in the local area. As a Powder Coater will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying powder coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes on all products. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of powder coating techniques, excellent attention to detail, and a minimum of 2 years experience.
The Duties of a Powder Coater:
Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking
Mix powder coatings to achieve desired colours and finishes
Apply powder coatings using spray guns or other equipment according to specifications
Ensure even application and adherence to quality standards
Perform quality inspections of coated products
Maintain a clean and organised work area
The Requirements of a Powder Coater:
Previous experience as a Powder Coater or similar role
Strong knowledge of powder coating techniques, materials, and equipment
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Ensure proper storage of coatings and equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
