£28,000-£36,000, Harrogate, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service, free on site parking & close to public transport, early finish on a Friday, full study support available, training and development, life assurance, regular social events and staff parties.

We currently have an opportunity to join this established Accountancy firm in Harrogate as a Payroll Specialist. This firm has been going from strength to strength and is constantly growing which is why we are looking for a new experienced Payroll Specialist to join the team.
As Payroll Specialist you will be processing a number of client's payroll from start to end, inputting and processing holidays, SSP, SMP etc. There will be varying hourly rates, shift allowances, shifts premiums and overtime to take into consideration. You will be given all the information required to process but previous experience is essential. Training on the systems used will be given so you will be required to partake in online training and be IT proficient.

The right candidate will have a really strong background in Payroll Administration and have a good working knowledge of up to date legislation. We are looking for someone who has experience of full end to end payroll. Previous Payroll Bureau experience would be a great fit and any supervisory or management experiecne a bonus as we are looking for someone to head up the team.

Responsibilities:
·Manage your own allocation of client's payrolls
·Be able to train, mentor and coach the current team
·Coordinate and execute end to end payroll for a variety of payroll sizes
·Process weekly, bi weekly and monthly payrolls, including holidays, pensions, SSP, SMP, overtime allowances, bonuses etc. ensuring all calculations are accurate
·Prepare, submit and analyse payroll reports
·Ensure all deductions are accounted for
·Process HMRC submissions
For the right candidate we would look at a Supervisory role to head up the department.

Requirements:
·Sage Payroll system
·Previous experience processing complex payrolls
·Ability to manage the full end to end payroll process
·Previous supervisory or people management experience would be an advantage

This role would suit someone who has worked as a payroll coordinator or payroll administrator and is looking to step up or a payroll supervisor or payroll manager.
