Caledonian Construction are working with an ICP to recruit a Civil Tendering Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in developing proposals for major electrical works across diverse projects such as BESS, Solar Parks, Data Centres, and more, with project values up to £15m+.
Location: Home Based / Head Office [Doncaster] - Hybrid [2 days per week] if traveling overnight stays in a hotel will be paid for as well as an evening meal.
Responsibilities:
* Assess bid opportunities and participate in bid/no-bid reviews.
* Evaluate risks and assess potential problems.
* Check accuracy and completeness of client tender documents.
* Assist in technical and estimating aspects of tender and quotations preparation.
* Review and assess project specifications and technical requirements.
* Produce formal handover documentation for accepted work.
* Generate management reports and maintain tender database.
* Collaborate with project managers and design engineers during project handovers.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience in supporting teams in a demanding customer-focused environment.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Preferably hold HNC/HND or similar qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Experience in the Electrical DNO sector or civil contracting.
* Knowledge of LV to EHV installations, substations, and switchgear.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
