Job Title: Process Technician

Location: Runcorn

Type of Work: Permanent, Full Time

Total Staff Services are currently recruiting Process Technicians for one of our prestigious clients based in Runcorn. You will be joining a pharmaceutical company working within the aseptic units on site contributing towards manufacturing lifesaving products.

Candidates are required to have previous experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing role or proven longevity within food manufacturing as you must be familiar with following SOP's and working to GMP guidelines.

Shift Pattern: Candidates will be working on a rotating shift so must be able to commute to and from site for the outlined shift times. You will be working either of the following shift patterns:

Salary: With a competitive salary on offer of £29,626.00 P/A, included is a basic salary, shift allowance and a discretionary bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

Working within aseptic units on site and ensuring the working environment is kept sterile and to standard at all times avoiding contamination.
Following a production plan to deliver products to the compounding units.
Picking materials from the unit to be sanitized and transferred through to be manufactured.
Working with raw materials to create individual patient nutrient bags.
Packing final products and sending them through to quality inspection where they will be checked through x-ray for air bubbles or foreign bodies.
Replenishing stock and materials in preparation for other shifts.
Following SOP's on site at all times.
Working towards GMP guidelines.
Committing to producing vital products ensuring high quality standards are constantly met.Essential Requirements/Qualifications:

Previous experience working within aseptic environments or a minimum of 2 continuous years within food production.
Strong attention to detail as well as organisational and planning skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability work within a fast paced environment.
Willingness to undergo a comprehensive training process.
Driving license would be desirable however, this isn't essential.Interview Process and On-Boarding:

During the interview process for this role, candidates will be required to complete basic English and Math assessments on site. If you are successful following interview, ALL candidates will also be required to take part in an Occupational Health Review prior to starting. This is a standard procedure for anyone joining the Production team
