Assistant Management Accountant
Manchester Area (Hybrid) - Must drive
£30,000 - £34,000 DOE
 
Medlock Partners are partnering with an international company based in the Carrington (Manchester) area who are currently recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to join their ever-growing team during an exciting period of company growth. Reporting to the Financial Accounts Manager, the main duties as an Assistant Management Accountant include:   

Overseeing the month-end processes
Handling VAT/Tax returns
Managing the processing of CAPEX invoices and CAPEX reporting
Providing support for intercompany reconciliations
Assisting in KPI reporting
Carrying out treasury tasks and supporting P11d/PSA reporting
Conducting balance sheet reconciliations
Performing group costs variance analysis  
Key Requirements for a Financial Accounts Assistant:  

Preferred experience of at least 2 years in an accounting role
ACCA/CIMA part qualified / studier
Strong proficiency in IT skills
Familiarity with SAP is desirable
Exceptional communication skills
Capacity to adapt and handle various tasks, adhering to strict deadlines
Exceptional accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision  
As a contact for the Financial Shared Service Centre, you will develop extensive understanding and establish strong connections with both external and internal customers. The ideal candidate will be proactive, diligent, and skilled at managing multiple tasks, with a demonstrated history of achievement in a Financial Accounting role.
