Calling all talented Mechanical Design Engineers with Electronics Industry experience! Are you passionate about creating innovative solutions in the electronics industry? Our client, a leader in the field, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their dynamic team as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Candidates with experience in Electronics industry and who have design experience with incorporates injection moulding and metal bracket fabrication are highly desirable.
As a key member of their team, you will take on several exciting responsibilities, including:
Developing concepts and designs for cutting-edge products.
Maintaining and updating existing product designs for continuous improvement.
Designing reliable and compliant products that meet industry standards.
Collaborating with the Engineering Manager to prioritise projects.
Implementing customer standards into product designs and manufacturing processes.
Coordinating with test houses to ensure proper product testing.
Following design processes and documentation procedures, such as DFMEA and drawing control.
Providing technical support to sales, customers, quality, and production departments.
Collaborating with our client's Far East design and manufacturing partners.
To excel in this role, our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
Proficiency in 3D modelling and 2D detailing using CAD software like CREO, CATIA, or SOLIDWORKS.
A degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, coupled with hands-on experience.
Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance studies.
Experience with electromechanical systems and electrical components.
Familiarity with DFMEA analysis and documentation.
BOM maintenance using business planning software.
Proficiency in maintaining technical documentation and revision control.
Knowledge of plastic injection mouldings and metal bracket fabrication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Understanding of document control systems and procedures.
