Are you someone who is passionate about delivering a professional maintenance service in industrial environments?

At our British Gypsum site in Sherburn, we are looking for Mechanical Engineer to work within our talented Performance team, tasked with ensuring continuous, fault free manufacturing.

As Mechanical Engineer, you will deliver the maintenance strategy for the area of focus with respect to Mechanical engineering ,and deliver relevant capital projects on time and within budget.

British Gypsum is part of Saint-Gobain and is the UK's leading manufacturer of interior lining systems.

What you will be doing:

Performing predictive and preventative planned maintenance activities for the plant.
Managing contractors and suppliers.
Project installation work including CapEx projects.
Maintain and manage Infor EAM maintenance system.
Performing root cause analysis on plant breakdowns and failures.

What we're looking for:

Degree calibre (mechanical discipline) or equivalent (i.e HND & relevant experience).
Previous experience in a Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering role applying WCM principles.
Exposure to managing individuals and team.
Project Management knowledge and experience would be a benefit.
A hands-on approach to maintenance issues would be desirable (i.e time served).
