Facilities Coordinator, Ipswich

Monday – Friday 09:00-17:00

c£28,000/DOE + Highly competitive benefits package including company bonus scheme, hybrid working and additional annual leave!

Total starting package on offer £32,800

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join a friendly team in a busy Operations and Facilities department. Reporting to the Facilities Manager working pro-actively with a hands-on approach you will provide FM/Reception support including support required to meet operational specialised equipment permit regulations. The ideal candidate will possess proven IT skills and would have worked within a similar role, responsible for the planning and co-ordination of various procedures and administration tasks within a fast-paced process driven environment.

Outline of Role (please note that a full job description will be shared as part of our screening process upon successful short-listing)

* Maintain up-to-date maintenance records and electronic files to ensure compliance requirements are met regarding the servicing and repairs at the company premises.

* Provide regular reception/switchboard cover (Lunches, Absences, and holidays) including other reception duties.

* Provide support and work alongside Health and Safety team.

* Assist with the management of the programme for planned and unplanned works.

* Take responsibility for contractors working on premises.

* Liaise with the cleaning company managers and act on any feedback from cleaners or colleagues.

* Work with the Warehouse and Logistic Managers over pre and unplanned works.

* Management of specialist equipment to include arrangement of couriers and bookings.

* Support with equipment audit preparation and documentation management.

Experience/Skill Required

* Efficient administrator experienced in facilities focused role.

* Health and Safety experience and/or qualifications – highly beneficial.

* Experience of Microsoft and database packages

* Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills.

* Ability to prioritise workload effectively.

* Problem-solving capabilities and can-do attitude.

* Proactive with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.

* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

* Team spirited, hands-on with a flexible approach to role requirements.
