Your background as a Software Developer:

* You will have the ability to develop software in C#, Java (Angular), and SQL Server.

* Creative problem solver who can see a project through to final delivery.

* Experience in developing web-based applications and creating interactive applications.

* Knowledge of relational databases.

* Ability to document requirements and specifications.

* Familiarity with software development methodology and release best practices.

* This Software Developer role offers lots of flexibility work from home, but we still want to recruit a candidate within a commuting distance of the Hinckley, Leicester area to be able to attend site when needed.

Software Developer responsibilities:

* You will be part of a central software development and IT operations team supporting an incredibly diverse engineering and technology business using a variety of business applications / systems across all business functions. It is a ~650 headcount business across 2 UK sites.

* Designing, creating, optimising, testing, and monitoring of several software programs and applications across the business.

* Developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code to meet project and business requirements.

* Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.

This Software Developer job when working in the office is commutable from Hinckley, Nuneaton, Coventry, Tamworth, Rugby, Leicester, Northampton, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Solihull, Ashby de la Zouch, Burton on Trent.
