Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm

Join a prestigious resort, set across 800 acres, featuring a luxury hotel with 192 rooms, 11 meeting rooms, 3 golf courses, a spa, and on-site team-building adventures. We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Finance Assistant to support our client's accounts team in ensuring smooth financial operations across Income Audit, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.

Position Purpose:

The Finance Assistant will assist in maintaining the daily administration of the Accounts office, supporting Income Audit, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions.

Income Audit:

Reconcile daily sales, prepare sales reports, and audit financial records including rebates, paid outs, and correction reports.
Audit F&B, spa, golf checks, discount checks, and void checks.
Manage gift vouchers, certificates, and banqueting function sheets.
Reconcile concierge revenues, calculate commissions, and audit credit card refunds, house charges, and complimentary rooms.
Liaise with the General Cashier for accurate daily cash drops.
Verify month-to-date revenue and statistical information.Accounts Receivable:

Verify charges and credit card billing against daily business reports.
Post monetary receipts, match invoices, and handle special promotions.
Ensure compliance with signed contracts and provide proper backup.
Send account statements, chase aged debts, issue refunds, and conduct credit checks.Accounts Payable:

Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
Properly code and record expenses, enter invoices for payment processing.
Prepare supplier payment runs, reconcile vendor statements, and maintain contact files.
Set up new vendor accounts.All Department Areas:

Provide cover for Finance Assistant position as required.
Perform additional duties to support the department or resort work flow.Candidate Specification:

Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in computer processing systems; knowledge of Opera PMS is desirable.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
At least 3 years of experience in an accounting department, preferably in hospitality or F&B
Experience with DataPlus, Eyvo, Micros Symphony, and Opera PMS preferred.Grooming:
