Regional Account Manager - Midlands & North West

Location: Field-based, Midlands and North West regions M42, M5, M6, M1 North, corridor

Salary: £43,000 plus Car Allowance + Bonus

Our client is a leading awarding organisation in the UK, offering over 400 qualifications, including Access to Higher Education Diplomas, ESOL, Functional Skills, and vocational qualifications. They support over 170,000 learners annually, transforming lives through education.

The Role: We're on the hunt for a dynamic and driven Regional Account Manager to cover the North and Midlands regions. In this field-based role, you'll be the face of our client, managing existing accounts worth £1-1.2 million and driving £150,000 in new business per annum. If you're a master of the consultative sales approach and love being out in the field, we want you!

What You'll Do:

Hunt for New Business: Generate £150,000 in new sales by expanding within existing accounts and securing new clients.
Nurture Relationships: Retain £1-1.2 million in existing business.
Be On the Move: Conduct 3-4 face-to-face meetings weekly across the North and Midlands regions. Extensive travel is required, and overnight stays might be part of the adventure.
Develop Strategies: Create and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
Client Support: Provide excellent support and service to clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.

Who You Are:

Sales Dynamo: A proven track record in sales, preferably in education, training products, or regulated industries.
Field Enthusiast: Love the thrill of face-to-face meetings and the flexibility of extensive travel.
Relationship Builder: Skilled in managing and nurturing existing client relationships.
Passionate Educator: A genuine interest in education and the impact it has on people's lives.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
Adaptable: Quick to learn and flexible in adjusting your sales approach.
Persistent: Experienced with long sales cycles and maintaining momentum.

Ideal Location: Ideally you will be based in the West Midlands, East Midlands, or Northwest regions (Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Cumbria, Lancashire, North Wales, Liverpool). Preferably along the M1, M5, M6, or M42 corridors. However, exceptions will be made for the perfect candidate as long as they are willing to travel to meet clients face to face at least 3-4 days per week.

What Our Client Offers:

Competitive Salary: £43,000 salary plus car allowance & fuel card.
Travel Expenses: All travel expenses covered.
35 hour week with flexible working considered
Annual Bonus:
Generous Benefits: 25 days annual leave (increasing with service), bank holidays, Christmas shutdown, and birthday off. Plus, the option to buy up to 5 extra days of leave.
