Our client, a group of talented designers, content strategists and account managers who help blue-chip clients tell their stories, are looking for a creative designer to join their team. They partner with senior leaders and the marketing community to build a deep understanding of their challenges and translate complex business communications into simpler, more engaging narratives to inspire and influence important audiences.
You will work as an important part of the design team, graphically communicating complex business ideas and stories for clients. Responsibilities include creating concepts, assets, and highly finished materials for presentation, animation, digital, and print projects. The role involves creative development, visualizing, concept development, design execution, complex charting, data visualization, information graphics, storyboarding, animation, motion, character development illustration, and more.
The ideal candidate should have a positive 'can do' creative mindset, strong typography skills, and a passion for solid design. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
* A design-related degree/diploma in graphic design, illustration, typography, fine art, or related subject.
* 5+ years of experience in a design role, working to briefs and managing feedback.
* Confidence in both creative and artworking ability.
* Proficiency in industry-standard software such as MS PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Adobe Acrobat – PC & Mac.
* Illustration skills (hand sketch and digital).
* Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy with the ability to think creatively and collaborate effectively.
* Experience working creatively within global brand constraints.
Bonus Skills:
* Experience in PowerPoint – both technical and creative.
* Examples of data visualization.
* Experience in designing infographics and icon development.
* Experience in WordPress.
* Digital skills across motion graphics, video, and animation (After Effects, Premier Pro, etc)
