We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers a variety of responsibilities and requires a diverse skill set. The ideal candidate will have experience with Solidworks 3D and Draftsight 2D design software.

Salary: Negotiable based on skills and experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Liaising with clients to identify their requirements, which may include site visits.
2. Collaborating with R&D staff in the development of new systems.
3. Working alongside sales and production staff in the assembly of systems and their components.
4. Producing detailed design drawings in 3D using Solidworks software.
5. Producing detailed design drawings in 2D using Draftsight software.
6. Modifying clients' existing drawings to meet specifications.
7. Creating system Bills of Materials (BOM).
8. Managing projects and timelines effectively.
9. Performing other ad hoc duties as required.

Experience & Education

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Proficiency in using Solidworks 3D and Draftsight 2D design packages in a design engineering capacity.
- Knowledge of system piping, valves, and water purification systems is beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a focus on leading the design process.
- A strong customer service and quality focus, with good numerical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands, managing time and commitments efficiently.
- Self-motivation and a keen desire to meet deadlines.
