Network Support Engineer
Location:Hybrid -Homeworking and travel to either Chippenham (SN15 1GG) or Farnborough (GU14)
Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 17:30pm Plus Oncall
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Gross per annum

Your new role
You will be responsible for providing technical support, to critical network infrastructure. Inclusive of reactive and proactive support. You will bring a high degree of technical infrastructure and networking expertise in escalations and complex changes.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Network Infrastructure Management
* Network Troubleshooting
* Change Enablement
* Network Configuration and Optimisation
* Incident Response
Knowledge and experience required:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or support roles.
* Configuration and troubleshooting of network devices including routers, switches, firewalls to maximise network efficiency and security.
* Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, IPSec, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, and QoS.
* Experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Dell Networks.
* Familiarity with change management processes and best practices, with the ability to effectively participate in change enablement activities.
* Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
