During your 3-year Advanced Apprenticeship Training Programme you will rotate through each element of the Testing Service lines (including Radio Frequency, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Marine, Safety and Environmental) at our state-of the-art facility in Segensworth, Fareham.
Your learning and development journey:
* A 3-year Advanced Apprenticeship training programme to industry recognised and Level 3 qualification.
* 1 day release per week to attend CEMAST Campus Fareham
* Rotation through each element of the service lines leading to placement in an identified discipline.
* On completion of the apprenticeship there will be opportunities to develop further within TÜV SÜD e.g., progression from Technician to Chief Engineer as well as opportunities within other parts of the business such as project management and technical sales within the UK and globally.
* Potential opportunity to progress to an HNC (level 4) and degree apprenticeship (Level 6).
Benefits:
* Permanent employment contract rather than an Apprenticeship contract (continued employment and role placement on completion of apprenticeship).
* Starting Salary of £13,500 per annum with a six-monthly performance/salary reviews during apprenticeship.
* 37 hours, Monday – Friday with the potential opportunity for a 9-Day fortnight working pattern.
Essential Criteria:
* GCSE Grade 4 in English and Maths
* A genuine interest in testing with aspirations to become a test engineering specialist.
* A self-starter and good team worker
* Organised and work in a tidy, professional manner.
* Flexible with a “can do” attitude.
* Have an excellent attention to detail.
* Good interpersonal and written skills
* Good numerical, logical, organisational and analytical skills.
* Computer literate.
* Able to travel to both the Fareham TÜV SÜD location as well as to our training provider’s premises.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience of working directly with customers
