IT Technician

Siamo Recruitment are currently looking for an IT Technician on a permanent, full-time basis, located in the Denbighshire area.
This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who is looking to develop their career and build upon existing skills. The position involves a wide variety of IT responsibilities and will be very rewarding for a technology-driven problem solver. Due to the nature of the role, an Enhanced DBS check will be processed for the successful candidate.
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
The Role:
- Management of network infrastructure, servers, workstations and software
- Oversee IT administration, installation, maintenance
- Maintain integrity of the ICT infrastructure
- Support the delivery of ICT implementations and advise staff on emerging technologies
- Ensuring Data Protection requirements are met
- Provide a wide variety of technical support duties
- Computer system management, including databases, internet filters, virus protection, etc.
- IT Project Management and implementation
- Maintain back-up and disaster recovery systems
- Staff training on IT systems and hardware
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar IT Technician role
- Relevant formal qualifications are beneficial but experience is preferred
- Communication and organisational skills
- Excellent IT literacy and up-to-date knowledge of IT systems and processes
- Ability to take responsibility of IT duties and procedures
