We are collaborating with this esteemed brand to recruit a Sous Chef for their venue in Ripon, North Yorkshire. This role requires an experienced Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering a high-quality food offering in a high-volume restaurant, whilst supporting the development of the team.

The compensation package for this position includes a basic salary of up to £36,000, with bonuses paid every 6 months based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Additionally, overtime is remunerated for every hour worked beyond the contracted 48 hours per week. We are seeking chefs with a solid background in branded restaurants, who exhibit passion for their craft and a drive for success. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef role and be comfortable supporting with kitchen management duties along with the Head Chef. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of Ripon and be available for shifts spanning mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, although the venue is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Role:

Deliver high-quality, freshly prepared dishes that align with the menu specifications.
Support the Head Chef & General Manager with kitchen management requirements.
Comply with food safety and overall business regulations.
Support the kitchen team through recruitment, training, and development initiatives.
Collaborate effectively with the senior management team on site and at group level.Requirements:

Demonstrable experience in branded restaurant environments.
Previous roles held at Sous Chef or Junior Sous level.
Relevant qualifications in catering.
Experience in fast-paced, high-volume culinary settings.
