TITLE: Commercial Manager - Waste Management & Recycling
CLIENT: My client is a growing Waste Management and Recycling company. They are now seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their busy team. Excellent rewards and career opportunities are available for the successful candidate.
Package: £35,000 - £45,000, Commission OTE £55k, car or car allowance and Pension.
Location: You can be located in North East or Yorkshire. Ideal locations Leeds, York, Durham, Darlington and Harrogate

ROLE- Commercial Manager
This is great opportunity for a Sales/ Procurement professional to join a growing company and take ownership of growth
This role will see you working alongside management to help strengthen the supply chain, increase buying power and most importantly increase margins
You will build rapport with suppliers, new and existing, and create fantastic relationships.
Ensure all nominated suppliers are checked for compliance, quality and process
You will liaise with suppliers to ensure the smooth running of process, by checking that Service level agreements are established and maintained.
Working to deadlines to secure business and use your initiative to negotiate the best possible price and achieve cost savings where possible
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
You will be commercially savvy and hold strong negotiation skills.
Previous sales experience
Previous experience in a buying OR procurement role is ESSENTIAL
This experience may have come from ANY industry
Exposure to Waste Management and Recycling or related industries would be beneficial
Good working knowledge of using IT systems.
Can build excellent relationships and nurture them.
You will be able to work to tight deadlines efficiently in a calm manner.
Exposure to Waste Management and Recycling or related industries would be preferable, though not essential.
