Counsellor

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Counsellor to work within a high secure Forensic service in East Yorkshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an integrated mental health team within a high secure prison providing brief intervention counselling to those who present with depression. The post holder will be offering 6-8 sessions in a 121 or group setting.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full time

Salary - £28,400 - £34,500 FTE

Experience required:

Counsellors applying will have post qualification experience working in an IAPT setting, along with the qualification and experience that allows application to BACP accreditation.
