Job Description
Sheladia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior-level Engineer to lead our domestic engineering department. As a senior-level professional, you will be responsible for managing Sheladia’s domestic engineering team and overseeing the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure successful project execution. This is a full-time, fully on-site position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead and manage a team of multi-disciplined engineers (civil, structural, stormwater, transportation, etc.), providing guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise.
Oversee the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, codes, and standards.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project completion within specified timelines and budgetary constraints.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to support project decision-making.
Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and technical documents.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Foster client relationships and actively participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
Other duties as needed.
