As Pepco, we are currently looking for a new person to join our team as

Lead HR Business Partner

You would be responsible for leading the local HR team as well as acting as a key point of contact for people topics for colleagues and leaders. Adapt and implement local HR services, policies, and programs in the country. Leading HR administration & payroll topics, and ensuring Pepco's compliance with labor law.

As the Lead HR Business Partner will play a supportive role for the HR Operations Manager, thus, Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the HR Operations Manager, and acting as the local strategic partner for Germany,
  • Leading local HR team,
  • Supervising all the works related to the local HR and payroll administration,
  • Cooperating closely with all key suppliers, e.g. payroll or H&S service provider, ensuring its compliance,
  • Planning, implementing, and supervising inductions, corporate training systems, and developmental training for local store and Head office employees,
  • Supporting local Managers in preventing and solving employee conflicts and in promoting organizational culture,
  • Planning, developing, and supervising the local recruitment and selection process for local operations,
  • Supervising the development and implementation of diverse local HR projects and processes,
  • Adapting and implementing HR policies, processes, and company guidelines,
  • Implementing local initiatives to improve employee life cycle in organization.

Apply if you have:

  • Professional experience in the role of HR Business Partner or team leader or HR Manager,
  • Experience as an HR expert in a retail environment would be an advantage,
  • Fluent German language skills and Advanced English language skills,
  • Proven knowledge of overall HR responsibilities, e.g. personal administration & payroll, compensation & benefits, recruitment, employer branding, learning and development, engagement, performance management, etc.,
  • Advanced knowledge of local labor law,
  • Previous experience in leading a team would be an advantage,
  • Very good communication and client orientation skills,
  • Ability to build influential and trust-based relationships.
