Symmetrio is recruiting for a Vice President of Healthcare Software Solutions for our client, a global medical device company.  This is a regional leadership position on the executive team of the North and South Americas Region of a global organization.  Responsibilities will include accountability for delivering P&L; managing sales teams; product strategy; customer implementation, training and success.  In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and success of the software solutions business unit. This position encompasses P&L execution, leadership in software development, driving revenue and market growth within a SaaS platform environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding P&L targets, exceptional customer success in the context of integrated software solutions and hardware products within the healthcare sector.  The company operates as a matrix organization, where you will be working cross-functionally within the region and globally.  This position will require both domestic and international travel of at least 50%. 
Requirements
Strategic Leadership:
Define and execute the strategic vision for the software technology business unit in alignment with the overall company objectives.
Drive innovation and differentiation through software solutions that enhance the company's position in the oncology medical device market.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, staying abreast of industry trends, and incorporating emerging technologies into the software development roadmap.
P&L Responsibility:
Assume full accountability for the financial performance of the software technology business unit.
Develop and execute financial strategies to ensure revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Lead business operation function including sales, implementation, service, process optimization and revenue maximization.
Revenue and Market Growth:
Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance market penetration and revenue streams.
Analyze market trends and opportunities to develop strategies for expansion of company market share in the oncology space.
Collaborate cross-functionally in the development of go-to-market strategies to drive revenue growth.
Develop business unit KPIs for continuous measurement and improvement of execution.
Leadership and Compliance
As a formal member of the Regional Leadership team, contribute actively to the operational excellence of the region.
Deliver effective leadership behaviors and ensure that all direct reports have clear, transparent guidance on expectation for their role with an understanding of how they fit into the overall goals for the business unit and region.
Foster a culture that executes regular coaching meetings and performance reviews, holding direct reports accountable to follow in same methodology for their teams. Develop a high performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Communicate and ensure compliance to company Code of Conduct
Customer Success:
Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring the delivery of software solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, gathering feedback to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with the customer support team to address and resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
SaaS Platform Commercial Strategy:
Develop and execute a strategy for the sale of SaaS and cloud-based solutions
Collaborate with product development tea to ensure that cloud solutions align with industry best in class and customer needs.
Support the team with necessary tools and resources to effectively position and sell solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or a related field.  MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior leadership role within a SaaS environment, preferably in the Healthcare, MedTech or Medical Device industry.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving P&L targets.
Strong background in software commercial and a deep understanding of technology trends in the healthcare sector, primarily SaaS platforms.
Experienced leading and developing high-performing commercial teams.
Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships at all levels.
