Land Survey CAD Technician

Position: Land Survey CAD Technician
Location: Franklin, Tennessee
Duration: Full-time
Salary: DOE
We are currently seeking a full-time CAD Technician. This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and highly skilled professional who wants to be part of an expanding team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare Residential and Commercial Land Surveys, including, but not limited to Topographic Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Elevation Certificates, Form Surveys, Final Surveys, Tree Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Platting, and Replatting Drawings;
Calculate Survey Control and Constructions Staking for field crews;
Preparation of field sketches;
Able to search local municipalities for deed research;
Adhere and understand company's CAD standards and layering system;
Preparation of Easement Exhibits;
Basic understanding of deeds, leases and other legal documents for preparation of deed sketches and abstract maps;
Other duties may be assigned at the direction of management.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of high school diploma/GED diploma;
2+ years' experience in DRAFTING in the land surveying industry;
Must have a valid driver's license;
High degree of proficiency using Carlson, AutoCAD and or Autodesk;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word/Excel;
Good communication skills;
Ability to self-motivate.
