Site Civil Engineer

Position: Site Civil Engineer
Location: Franklin, Tennessee
Duration: Full-time
Salary: DOE
We are currently seeking a full-time Civil Engineer in the Civil-Site Division. This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and highly qualified professional who wants to be part of an expanding team.
Job Requirements:
Project planning and design for civil-site and related projects;
Performing site geometric design, grading, stormwater calculations, and plan production utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D
Project management experience; ability to communicate with clients, governing bodies and team members to take a project from start to finish in the design phase;
Coordinate and perform all drafting efforts on a project;
Ensure that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards;
Attending internal/external project meetings and municipal meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred five (5) years of experience in land development, site civil design, erosion control, grading, site layouts, and storm water management;
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer Certification
Proficiency in Civil 3D;
Experience in storm water modeling software, such as Hydraflow, etc. preferred;
Familiar with submittal schedules and timelines for civil-site design projects;
General understanding of applicable design codes and municipal design standards;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
A team player who strives to provide quality work, meet project needs, and deliver projects in a timely manner;
Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills, able to successfully multitask on several projects concurrently.
