Job Title: Product Support Technician
Location: 20 mins from Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill, and Newmarket
Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week)
Our client, a leading brand within agricultural machinery manufacturing is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable individual with a passion for engineering, agriculture, and customer relations. As a Product Support Technician, you will play a pivotal role in understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions, and contributing to product and production development. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional growth, including occasional overseas travel and participation in a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
Utilise engineering and technical knowledge to understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions.
Build strong rapport with customers, effectively communicating technical information and product benefits.
Collaborate with internal departments to provide feedback for continuous product and production improvement.
Present technical information to small groups confidently and effectively.
Work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets.
Provide weekend phone cover on a rotational basis as part of the After Sales Team. Requirements:
Engineering technical knowledge and experience, preferably in agricultural machinery.
Understanding of agriculture, with knowledge and experience in electrics, hydraulics, and mechanics being advantageous.
Proficiency in English (written/spoken). Proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
Strong proficiency in MS Office.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Positive mindset, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude.
Ability to learn continuously and share knowledge with others. Benefits:
