Job Title: Physiotherapy Outpatient Team Leader (Fixed Term 12 Months)
Location: Cambridge
Salary: Paying up to £45,996 per annum depending on experience
Working Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours Mon - Fri with occasional Saturdays 08:00 - 13:00

Dedicated to providing quality care and treatments, this is a brilliant opportunity for a highly skilled Physiotherapist to manage the day to day running of the Outpatient Physiotherapy team.
Overview of the Physiotherapy Team Leader role:
You will effectively manage the outpatient physiotherapy team to ensure effective staffing and high-quality patient care. Confidently lead the team across multiple outpatient areas, oversee a 6-day working rota, provide specialised assessment and treatment, and deliver clinical leadership and education to ensure the team delivers effective physiotherapy.
Key Responsibilities as a Physiotherapy Team Leader
Practice Development:
Assess health and wellbeing needs and develop protocols.
Provide specialised advice and treatment plans.
Educate and mentor team members.
Team Leadership:
Plan and allocate tasks, assess performance, and provide feedback.
Recruit, induct, and manage physiotherapy staff.
Service Improvement:
Improve health, safety, and security in the working environment.
Develop and enhance physiotherapy services, ensuring quality and compliance with standards.
Communication:
Handle complex information sensitively.
Promote good practice and effective communication within the team.
Resource Management:
Ensure efficient use of physical and financial resources.
Maintain accurate records for billing, budgeting, and stock control.
Essential qualifications & experience required as a Physiotherapy Team Leader
BSc Hons in Physiotherapy or equivalent
Experience of working in a UK Hospital environment
Registered with the HCP (Health Care Professions Council)
Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
5 years post-graduate varied Physiotherapy experience
Experience of team leadership of other physiotherapists
Analysing physiotherapy management problems and coming up with viable solutions
Working as a practitioner in and across multi disciplinary teams
Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes
Challenging consultants to influence evidence based practice
Share evidence based practices with colleagues to enhance service and standards
Experience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solution for the service
Experience of clinical leadership g. developing peers
