An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client an established housing provider in the UK. My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services.

Vacancy Brief:

* The role is that of a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker.

* This is a temp role for 4 - 6 months; full-time, 35 hours per week.

* Job role is based in Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire.

* This post will be Monday - Friday 9-5pm.

* Pay rate for this job role is £14.55 per hour on PAYE OR £18.00 Umbrella.

* Full UK Driver’s License and access to a vehicle is ideal.

* A current Enhanced DBS covering Child and Adult workforce will be required for this job role.

* Service User group is low to medium substance users in the Criminal Justice System.

The Responsibilities:

* As a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker, you will assessing suitability for service users to enter service, completing risk assessments & care plans, deliver structured psychosocial interventions to enable service users to move forward in their recovery.

* In your role as a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker, you will support service users to make progress against their objectives by providing tailored pathway interventions and making supported referrals into other agencies.

* Part of your role as a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker, will be to record, monitor and review progress against individual and service objectives in order to demonstrate impact and tangible outcomes.

* An important part of your role will be to Maintain up to date records via relevant and appropriate systems within specified timeframes and produce reports as required.

* Furthermore, you will take a multi-agency approach to service delivery to ensure that the right services are available at the right time. Liaise & feedback to the Probation service.

Skill Outcomes of this role:

This role provides an excellent springboard into other criminal justice professions including experience of working with a range of criminal justice agencies.

In addition, you will gain experience in liaising local authority Housing Benefit departments and the DWP to resolve financial issues.
