Electrical Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensuring designs comply with UK regulations and standards such as 7671 and Building Regulations.

Ensure correct electrical safety measures are implemented into designs

Working collaboratively with in-house teams to integrate electrical systems into overall designs.

Prepare technical specs, drawings, and documentation for electrical systems, including layouts, schematics, and equipment schedules.

Prior experence with energy efficiency and sustainability such as renewable energy sources and optimised energy consumption.

Remain current with changes in tech, regulations, and best practices

PROFILE

Good Communication skills. Remaining in contact with Teams to ensure designs are understood and any concerns or issues resolved throughout the project design lifecycle.

Ensuring the quality and accuracy of electrical designs
Strong attention to detail, able to work across multiple projects

Proficient in AutoCAD, Trimble / Amtech , Realux or Dialux
Navis works
Understanding of EV would be beneficial
Bachelors / Degree or equivalent
Ideally MIET or CIBSE, or working towards
