Job overview: We are seeking a skilled bench hand Joiner with on site experience to join our team. You will be expected to manufacture and fit a variety of joinery products including the use of power tools and machinery. A vast knowledge and understanding in the construction of staircase, cabinets, timber windows and doors is essential.

Contract type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP
Rate: £16 p/h PAYE
Working hours: 06:30 am -15:00 pm (Mon-Thur) 06:30 am - 13:00 pm (Fri)
Double time on weekends

Duties :

Setting out
Machining
Construction of joinery products
Paint preparation
Onsite installation of finished products
Reactive maintenance Skills
Knowledge and Understanding of the joinery trade in a workshop environment is essential
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Ability to work in a team, with other trades and follow instructions
Knowledge of different types of wood and their properties
Strong attention to detail
