We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team, supporting the Head and Sous Chef in culinary leadership. Alongside your passion for cooking and all aspects of food, you are a creative and motivated chef with a keen interest in menu development. With your industry experience, you have developed into a chef who is eager to learn and capable of leading a kitchen team confidently. Working closely with the Sous and Head Chef, you will assist in guiding your team through kitchen challenges and ensuring they reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
* Maintaining consistent quality and portion control, ensuring freshness and presentation of all food items.
* Assisting the Sous and Head Chef in ordering fresh ingredients and managing supplier relationships.
* Supporting the training and development of kitchen staff to optimize their skills and performance.
* Understanding and adhering to food hygiene regulations, HACCP standards, and being COSSH trained.
You will report directly to the Head and Sous Chef, collaborating closely to foster a thriving kitchen environment and tailor the menu to meet guest preferences and demands. Your culinary vision and menu contributions will shape the character of our establishment, and we aim to find a candidate who brings the right blend of personality and culinary expertise to the role.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000 per year (inclusive of service charge) plus bonus and comprehensive benefits package.

Schedule Requirements:
