Project Assurance Manager

£280 Per Day - Umbrella

Bristol / Hybrid (1 day per week on site)

Our Public Sector Client is looking for a Project Assurance Manager to join their team on an initial 4 month contract basis to oversee the delivery of the Low Carbon Energy Infrastructure projects throughout the City.

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering one or more of the following: renewable energy; energy efficiency; infrastructure projects; energy supply contracts or environmental management systems.

Essential:

* Experience of contractor, supplier, consultant or staff management

* Experience of researching, analysing and supporting the development of bids or business propositions or procurement.

* Experience of managing project/operational resources including monitoring and reporting, prioritisation and financial management.

* Able to demonstrate knowledge and/or experience of equalities and diversity issues.

* Have a working knowledge of business and teamworking applications, for example Microsoft 365 or equivalent, including email, word processing, spreadsheet, browser, team collaboration applications, and have a willingness to learn new applications and technology as required.

* Ability to independently build business cases and manage budgets.

* Ability to effectively and creatively challenge incumbent ways of working to seek more effective methods of delivery.

* Undertakes communication and/or training with relevant stakeholders and can maintain or establish a network of good contacts

* Ability to draft to final release complex specifications, policy, reports and tender documentation.

* Proven ability to identify, develop and manage programmes of work to deliver complex energy projects.

* Diploma or HNC equivalent qualification in a related subject to the project tasks and/or equivalent experience of working in a relevant Project Management role.

* Demonstrable knowledge & understanding of the principles and delivery of project/operational management & demonstrable project/operational management skills, including a good working knowledge of common project management processes such as planning, scheduling, budget setting and control and risk and opportunity management.
