Chief Operating Officer

Are you a Chief Operating Officer or Managing Director looking for a new challenge in London? Circa £15M Revenue, from a total staff of less than 20, this independent, rapidly growing company is in the mindfulness, wellness, consumer goods and personal growth space with celebrity endorsements. 

The position is commutable to Central West London with an option for hybrid remote work (if you are relatively local), reporting to and partnering with the CEO/Founder. Along with a base salary of up to £180,000 per annum, you will also receive a bonus scheme, a range of benefits and a negotiable LTIP. 

As Chief Operating Officer, your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing day-to-day operations of the company.
Managing various departments such as production, sales, marketing, and customer service to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Helping to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the company's goals and objectives.
Ensuring that resources are utilised effectively to support the company's operations and growth initiatives
Streamlining processes and improving operational efficiency
Overseeing the hiring, training, and management of employees within the company. You may also be responsible for fostering a positive work culture and promoting teamwork and collaboration across departments
Playing a key role in identifying potential risks to the business and implementing strategies to mitigate them
Monitoring the company's performance against key metrics and benchmarks. Preparing regular reports for senior management and stakeholders, providing insights into the company's progress and areas for improvement
Negotiating partnerships with other companies or managing relationships with vendors and suppliers
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction, managing customer feedback, and resolving any issues that arise.
We’re looking for a Chief Operating Officer with:
Previously experience as a COO / MD / SVP of a company that grew within or beyond the £25M-£100M+ revenue range, in B2C consumer goods via a strong digital marketplace and eCommerce presence (and other sales channels).
