We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our client's team as a Customer Services Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality service at the first point of contact. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide a first point of contact for visitors to the Customer Service Centre.
Resolve customer enquiries received electronically and by post.
Assist visitors in using self-service facilities, such as internet terminals within the Customer Service Centre.
Utilize CRM and other systems to maintain high standards of customer service and accuracy of information.
Update customers on the progress of their enquiries or service requests.
Maintain good working relationships with department specialists and act as an advocate for the customer.
Ensure compliance with Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation.
Participate in team and unit meetings, supporting colleagues and sharing information.
Maintain reception areas and interview rooms to an excellent standard, ensuring leaflet supplies are updated.
Operate the switchboard and other telephony systems.
Requirements:

Recent experience of working with the public and/or customers.
Good planning and personal organisation skills.
Effective communication skills face-to-face, over the telephone, and in writing.
Ability to use basic computer software such as Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and email.
