Field Service Engineer

My Client in Telford is looking for a Field Service Engineer.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Duties:

- Install, service, and repair machinery on site

- Carry out fault finding mechanically and electrically

- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions

- Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment

- Document all service activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades

- Travel to customer sites as needed

Requirements:

- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in an appropriate engineering subject

- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role

- Strong technical knowledge of relevant equipment and systems

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

- Willingness to travel extensively
