SAT Tutor - Andover, MA. 55/hr-65/hr

TPAPT, a national consortium of over 12,000 locally owned and operated Tutoring & College Advising Programs, is seeking SAT Tutors to work with students in Andover, MA. Tutor are responsible for providing in-person tutoring sessions to students at the local library.
Location: Andover, MA
Classification: Part-time, Contract
Tutoring Type: In-person, 60-minute sessions
Compensation: $65/hr-$75/hr
Responsibilities
Work closely with students to assess their needs and create personalized lesson plans
Help students understand math concepts and problem-solving strategies
Provide guidance and support to improve students' SAT test taking skills and confidence
Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Communicate with students' parents or guardians to provide updates on progress and areas for improvement
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Prior experience tutoring or teaching SAT test prep
Intimate knowledge of the SAT the new Digital SAT
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
Patience and the ability to work effectively with students of different skill levels
Reliability and professionalism
Benefits
Salary: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
Schedule:
4-8 hours of availability as follows:
Weekdays between 3pm - 8pm
Weekends as needed
