Job Description
Reporting directly to the Director of Global Technology PMO, the Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of POS deployments across various international markets. The role requires strong leadership skills, extensive experience in project management, and a deep understanding of agile development methodologies. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of progressive experience in PMO roles, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects within a global context.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans for POS deployments in the IOM, BU, and IDL markets, aligning project objectives with overall business goals and priorities.
Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management activities, including project planning, resource allocation, budget management, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication, to ensure timely and successful POS deployments.
Agile Methodology Implementation: Drive the adoption and implementation of agile development methodologies across POS deployment projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, sales, and customer support, to ensure seamless integration of POS solutions and alignment with business requirements.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners involved in POS deployment projects, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain project dashboards, KPIs, and other performance metrics to track project progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, making strategic decisions to minimize disruptions and maximize project success.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of project managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability, empowerment, and professional growth.
