This a 25 year old family run practice offering GP services. Renovated 18 months ago to the highest standard, with highly experienced staff and an extensive range of modern equipment.
Developing a culture of 'team first,' this is a practice where everyone pulls together when there's work, and relaxes when it's time. They are a dedicated team with a real focus on well-being who want their best for patients, employees, and the practice.
Ideally, they are looking for a small animal vet with surgical and medical skills, two years exp but they are flexible here, and more than happy to take on a new grad and invest in them. It’s a kind compassionate person that matters the most though.
This is a practice where you can own your cases, see them through with a good case load and mix of surgery and consults.
They don’t believe in working their team into the ground, they want you rested and refreshed so you can be at your best. That’s why it’s a 4 week rotating roster with an average of 38 hours per week, this includes 1 four day weekend every 4 weeks and 1 three day weekend every 4 weeks. NO OOH’s and no sole charge. There aren’t many practices that can boast this.
So, what’s in it for you? $65k-$100k per annum DOE. $5000 CPD with 1 week study leave, 4 weeks annual leave with discounted vet treatment for your own pet.
Located right next door to Ipswich's newest shopping centre there is lots going on. With restaurants, bars and coffee shops on your doorstep, parks, plenty of outdoor sports, Brisbane 30 mins away and the famous Gold Coast 45 mins away all bathed in a sub-tropical climate, what's not to like?
So, what’s next?
Send your CV, don’t worry if it’s not up to date. We can’t get the whole story in a job ad so ask any questions. I’ll answer honestly, no hard sell.
