Requirements:

Completed degree in computer science or a comparable education with several years of professional experience
- Good expertise in typical DevOps applications (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) and/or modern virtualization and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware)
- Very good knowledge and experience in using modern programming interfaces (e.g., REST API)
- Knowledge and experience in the field of monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Checkmk)
- Insight into data center operations and/or topics of automation, containerization, cloudification
- Enjoy tackling complex tasks and digital transformations
- Analytical and communicative skills, quick comprehension, teamwork, and customer-oriented way of working
- Interest in open-source solutions and knowledge of agile methods

Responsibilities:

Implement and operate a modern IT infrastructure and DevOps environment, with a focus on monitoring solutions, alongside a team
- Support business areas in all matters related to the introduction of their DevOps platform (e.g., Gitlab CI, Artifactory) and a container-based build environment (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, VMware)
- Coordinate and moderate between business areas and software development in projects
- Improve daily work environments through standardization and automation
- Diagnose and resolve system and application issues in 2nd level support and coordinate the business departments in bug fixing
